Hi! I’m Matt.

During the creative process I pride myself on working closely with professional directors and writers to fully research and fulfil their brief.  I have worked in many roles for theatrical productions including: acting, producing, production design, Stage Managing and as a scenic artist. This combined experience enables me to see problems from many different perspectives and I use this to influence the props I make. With each prop I make the aim is for it to be practical, aesthetically and historically correct and will always strive to be hardwearing and easy to use.

·        Foam work to create lightweight flexible props and costume items

·        Ageing and distressing

·        Wood working and carpentry

·        Set and production design

·        Adaptation and modification of existing items to make them suitable for their new life as a theatre prop.
